SUENOS is the name of the exciting Chicano Soul band from Sacramento, California that was formed in 1979 by Chicano and Mexican musicians. The group felt a common goal “to play original Latin music for the people” would set them apart from other bands.  Under the guidance of bandleader/ songwriter/bassist Frank Lizarraga and Israfel Records (Lovetaxi Productions) the group started recording and within months signed a distribution deal with Luna Records of Los Angeles and were releasing records to Spanish and English markets and radio stations.
